The Rockmart Lady Jackets (6-2) came away with a region win against the Adairsville Lady Tigers (3-4) in a 7-0 homestand after opening the week with a 9-3 victory over rival Cedartown.

Rockmart has thus far enjoyed early-season wins over North Murray, Murray County, Dalton and Gilmer to go along with the two early week wins, but has taken losses to Gordon Lee and Northwest Whitfield on the other side of the scorecard.

The Lady Jackets continue the week with a Thursday trip to Dalton to face Coahulla Creek, then host Bremen on Monday in a non-region game and hit the road again Tuesday back in region play on August 31 against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, and Wednesday, September 1 back at home hosting Ringgold and Thursday, Sept. 2 hosting North Murray to round out the week.
