The breaks continue to go against the Cedartown Lady Bulldogs as their streak continues on the softball diamond.

Northwest Whitfield hosted the Cedartown Lady Bulldogs for another road matchup in region play, and the Lady Bulldogs fell by a run in a 10-9 finish.

That dropped Cedartown to 7-12 overall and marked their eighth loss in a row since their win over Southeast Whitfield on August 24.

That dropped the Lady Bulldogs to fifth in the region, but they do have a chance to regain their footing if they can come up with wins on Thursday and in the next two weeks.

Cedartown has Northwest Whitfield at home on Thursday, followed by back-to-backs on Sept. 26 and Sept. 28 with Heritage, and finish out the season with Sonoraville, Southeast Whitfield, Heritage and Central to wrap up the regular season.
