The Cedartown Bulldogs are in the driver’s seat after three games into the season, remaining undefeated heading into a local area showdown with a longtime foe.
The Bulldogs rolled over Alexander in a 63-28 win this past Friday night, August 30, in Douglass County.
Cedartown put up a big win as Tae Harris put up two touchdowns, Demarcus Gardner put up two touchdowns, and Kobe Dorsey and Isaiah Johnson each grabbed one on the ground in the road victory. Johnson also put up a 6-for-6, 188 yard and three touchdown pass performance on the night.
Chace Collins for Alexander went 7-for-12 for 229 yards and three touchdowns in the air of his own. Paxton Dobbs did give up a fumble recovered by the Dawgs and brought back 42 yards by Harris.
Cedartown had 526 total yards in the game as well.
The victory moved the Dawgs to 3-0 on the season after their opening victory over Rockmart, and another win over Berkmar (somewhat closer than the Dawgs would have liked.)
Cedartown now faces an 0-3 Pepperell in Lindale on Friday night.
