Local youth had to wait a few extra days, but they were able to gather at Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex’s football fields for the annual Soccer camp in Cedartown
The evening camp from June 13 through June 15 provided participants the opportunity to work with 12 Cedartown Bulldog and Lady Bulldog soccer player, along with all four high school coaches and six recreation volunteers as well during the three-day opportunity.
Some 63 campers into total signed up to take part during the two-hour sessions.
CHS Coaches Kevin King, Joey Rice, Ana Flores and Nancy Martinez all provided help for younger players who were seeking to get better at their game.
The Cedartown Recreation Department is hosting soccer again this fall for younger players to get into the league. Signups are $60.
