The Rockmart Yellow Jackets remain on a roll as their long run through a road schedule continued on Monday night.
The Jackets toppled the Colts in a 59-50 win. A full box score wasn’t immediately available.
A nine-point victory for Rockmart capped off the trip to Dalton to face 6-AAA foe Coahulla Creek, moving Rockmart to 9-5 on the year and pushing their region record to an even 4-4 on the season.
It marked their third region victory in a row and the sixth since late December. Rockmart now stands at fifth in 6-AAA standings, just outside playoff contention and a game behind Murray County in fourth place. Lafayette sits in first and are perfect in the region standings at 8-0, with LFO in second at 7-0, and followed by Adairsville at 5-2.
Rounding out 6-AAA standings are North Murray in sixth, Coahulla Creek in seventh, Sonoraville in eighth and Ringgold in ninth place.
