The Rockmart Yellow Jackets are now 9-0 after four region wins and five non-region games through the early half of the season.

Rockmart took another win on Tuesday night to extend their winning streak over region foe Haralson County. The Jackets landed a 94-32 win over the Rebels, a 62-point victory in back-to-back losses for the Rebels.

Treylin Davis and Sam Johnson continue to lead the Jackets on scoring. Davis put up a 27-point game, and Johnson put up 20 on the night. Tristan Anderson grabbed 14, and Trey Luke notched 13 on the night.

The Jackets have only had two close ones so far this season. They put up a five-point victory over Cartersville earlier this month on December 9, and then toppled Murray County the next time up on Dec. 15 in a 70-68 victory. Every other team that the Jackets have faced have lost by double digits.

A much-needed holiday break is coming up for Rockmart as they get a break until next Wednesday, December 27 when they get into holiday tournament action against Hokes Bluff in the Hilburn-Patterson Invitational in Haralson County.

Rockmart faces a 6-4 Eagles squad from Alabama that are coming off a loss to Whitesburg Christian Academy on Tuesday in a close one, 63-58.
