The Cedartown Bulldogs are getting ready to open their season in the coming days despite some chilly weather after playing in real bitter cold against one another for fans to enjoy and see who will be taking the field in 2022.

On Friday, January 28, the Cedartown Bulldogs coaches, players and fans braved the elements on a cold windy evening with the temps and wind chills in the lower 30’s to upper 20’s.

The Bulldog Black Team bested the Bulldog Red Team 8 to 5.

The Bulldogs are set to take the field again for the regular season opener on Monday, February 14 when they host the Darlington Tigers for a Valentine’s Day gift for Cedartown faithful. The opener will get underway at 5:30 p.m. as two perennial foes face one another again. They’ll have a busy schedule for the weeks ahead.

On the following day, the Bulldogs host Bremen, then on Feb. 17 take on Villa Rica and head to South Paulding on Feb. 19 in their opening days on the diamond.

The Bulldogs and Jackets face each other – first at home for Cedartown fans on Feb. 25, followed by a trip the next day to Rockmart on Feb. 26 – before they get deep into their non-region and region schedule in March.

Check back for more updates on the Bulldogs 2022 season after it opens in less than two weeks.
