KNOXVILLE — An earthquake near the Knoxville area shook several area states this morning at 4.1 magnitude, per reports from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Greenback, Tennessee at 9:04 a.m.
The shaking could be felt as far south as the Metro Atlanta area, and as far north as Kentucky and Virginia, and into Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina.
No immediate reports have come into Today News Wire about any damage.
