State Senator Jason Anavitarte enters his new term in office remaining in a position within the party leadership in the upper chamber under the Gold Dome.

The GOP party leadership in the Senate re-elected Sen. Anavitarte during their latest meeting, he announced on social media on Thursday.

Heading into his third term in the State Senate, Anavitarte ran without opposition to retain his 31st District seat.
