Severe weather is beginning to impact Polk County and the surrounding area, and a tornado watch has been issued by the National Weather Service.

The watch area includes Polk, Haralson, Floyd and Paulding Counties.

It concludes at 4 a.m. EDT on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
