The Rockmart City Council kept their meeting brief on Tuesday evening, April 14 at J.L. Ellis City of Rockmart Complex.
The meeting saw honors for Rockmart firefighters for their rescue of an individual inside of a house on Wingfoot Street that caught fire on March 2. They also honored Historic Preservation Month with the Downtown Development Authority, approved a conditional use request from AdventHealth Primary Care opening a new office in the city, and approved spending on new lights for the football field at the Nathan Dean Sports Complex and Air Conditioning Units for the city’s gymnasium.
