The Shanty Sleigh Ride 500’s inaugural event saw racers running down West Ware Street in front of Lankford Corner on the Silver Comet Trail on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

The event saw six teams take part in the holiday event organized by Shanty Hair Society and the Downtown Cedartown Association.
