Ms. Yvonne Hill Martin, age 76, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Yvonne was born on May 6, 1946 in Morrow, GA, to her parents: Percy A. Hill and Addie Bell Leslie Hill.

Ms. Martin had lived in Atlanta before returning to Cedartown four years ago. She was a graduate of Cedartown High School and had worked for KFC as a manager for many years.

Ms. Martin was member a of Friendly Baptist Church in Cedartown and had operated a prayer line for several years, having journals full of people she would pray for every day. She loved coloring, cats and being a member of TOPS.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Richard Blackmon, Jr.

She is survived by her loving cousins: Ronnie Rogers, Shelia Rogers, Cathy Rogers, Joyce Takei and Linda Dawson.

In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Martin will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Vines officiating at a later date. As soon as arrangements are finalized, they will be announced here by Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
