Congrats go out to students who were honored this past Tuesday evening, May 3, as the Board of Education and leadership from Polk School District honored student academic and athletic achievements during the 2021-22 school year.

Those included young writers who won Georgia Authors competition spots, SkillsUSA champs, students who earned FFA degrees, and athletes and teams from Cedartown and Rockmart High and Middle Schools. Those included state title winners on both Rockmart’s wrestling and weightlifting teams.
