Organizers are getting ready for the holiday season and the work that goes into giving back for Victory Baptist Church’s Stockings of Love ministry coming up in December.

Donations of clothing, toys or monetary help are just some of the needs that Tressie Wilson of Victory Baptist Church said can be of help to the program this year, especially for children older than 9 and teens heading into the holiday season.

This year’s event will take social distancing into account and utilize the church’s new fellowship hall during the December 12 event that includes Christmas dinner and stockings for approved applicants 17 and under. A free Bible and trip to the church’s clothing closet is also included.

Those who want to help can begin making donations on November 2, and collections continue until December 2. Please call Wilson at Victory Baptist at 678-685-4570 to arrange a drop-off time at the church.

Those who want to volunteer to help will also be needed ahead of the annual dinner for sorting and assembly.
