Ms. Theresa Lindsey of Cedartown, GA. passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Ms. Lindsey was born on January 19, 1951, to the late Robert and Mary Lindsey.

She is also preceded in death by her baby brother Tom and grandchildren Jackson Marchbanks and Eric Ledbetter.

Ms. Lindsey is known for loving Jesus and was an avid pro-life advocator. She has been a member of First Baptist Church in Cedartown since 2003. During her spare time, she had a passion for writing poetry and songs, many of which she sang and recorded herself. She also was a Prayer Warrior for many during their times of need.

Surviving Ms. Lindsey are her sons Tommy Marchbanks (Gina) and Richard Marchbanks (Kim); daughter Kena Womack (Randal); brothers Billy Lindsey and Randy Lindsey and sister Deborah Walker. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2022, from two o’clock until four o’clock in the afternoon at Litesey Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Litesey Funeral Home on Sunday, September 4, 2022, beginning at four o’clock. In keeping with Ms. Lindsey’s wishes, she will be cremated following the service.

Officiating the Funeral Service will be Bro. Hunter Marchbanks.

In place of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations to be made to Life Matters Outreach, P.O. Box 313 in Cedartown, GA, 30125.
