A Tallapoosa man arrested last week on charges that he was set to pay a teen for sex but found Polk County Police waiting for him in a online child predator sting operation is now out of jail.
Ethan Connor Goolsby, 20, of a Tallapoosa address, received a $20,000 bond from Chief Magistrate Judge Jean Crane, and was released from the Polk County Jail after just two days behind bars.
Goolsby was charged with trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, criminal solicitation, criminal attempt to commit a felony, enticing a child for indecent purposes, violation of the Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation and Prevention Act, and employ/use minor to engage in/assist person in sexually explicit conduct for a visual medium.
Polk County Police previously reported that Goolsby was arrested after he thought he was arranging for a sexual encounter with an underage teen, but was actually talking to a detective, who took him into custody without incident when he arrived locally to meet up with the teen.
