Mrs. Susan Rutledge Floyd, age 61, of Rockmart, GA passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 16, 2022 upon arrival to the local hospital.

She was born on January 15, 1961 in Cedartown to her parents Coy Earl Rutledge and Peggy Landrum Rutledge.

She was a 1978 graduate of Cedartown High School and was a longtime employee of Hon Industries. Susan enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Rutledge.

Survivors include a daughter, April Moore; son, Coy Floyd; seven grandchildren; and two brothers: Dwain Rutledge and Phillip Rutledge.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the First Baptist Church of Rockmart with David Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 pm until the service hour.
