Approved way back in November 2022, Big-un’s Biscuits has been a work in progress for owner Mark Sullins.

Now some progress is being made toward eventual construction as space has been cleared across from the Polk County Water Authority for its future home.

The land has mainly sat idle for nearly a year following the approval for the project by the Polk County Commission.

Along with the expansion of the Dallas-based breakfast restaurant to the Cedartown area, Sullins additionally plans to put a gas station and convenience store on the site.
