Cedartown families celebrate Halloween season at Bert Wood
Halloween season has been underway for a while (depending on which store you shop at, that could be as early as August with the candy going out) and the celebrations over the weekend gave families an opportunity to get some treats early, and show off fancy costumes in Cedartown.
Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex played host over this past weekend to the 2022 Boo Bash, a family-friendly event organized by the City of Cedartown with a number of partner organizations who setup booths with a variety of carnival-style games to entertain youth before the second annual costume contest.
Yours truly along with Karen Murphy and Sherry Foster were judges for this year’s costume contest. Photos from every participant are available in the gallery link below.

The second annual event brought out hundreds during the late afternoon and evening of October 15.
