Santa Claus sure was busy in Polk County over the holiday shopping weekend in Polk County. After visiting Remix at Moore’s in Cedartown on Saturday, Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick decided to stick around and made a visit Sunday afternoon to downtown Rockmart.

This time, White Tulip Market teamed up with neighboring business Now and Then of Rockmart to host Mr. Claus and give families who wanted a special Christmas photograph to spend a few minutes in a stand-in sleigh, and give kids a chance to share their Christmas wishes as well.

Along with taking part in local small business promotions during the holidays, the combined efforts of store owners also provided the chance for taking up toy donations for children in the community who don’t have the resources to have a happy holidays. Those toys will be turned over to American Legion Post 12 in Rockmart for their annual holiday program.
