A Rockmart man who Polk County Police sought for a warrant for meth possession was taken into custody, and found with more of the drug on his person when jailed over the weekend, per a report from officers.
Thomas Daniel Haney, 34, of 185 Knox Mountain Road, Rockmart, remains in jail on two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine without bond.
Haney was found by Polk County Police in a camper and officers knocked and got him to come out. He was advised he was being taken into custody for the warrant for his arrest, and while being cuffed he admitted he had something in his right front watch pocket.
