REPORT: Man found injured, naked at residence after hitting windows

A man who broke windows at a residence intoxicated was found by the owner naked and injured in his backyard and taken to the hospital, according to reports.

Polk County Police charged Ronald Colt Blackman, 31, of a Maple Street address in Rockmart, was charged with misdemeanors for public drunkenness and public indecency after a Sunday night, November 10 incident.

Officers responded to the area of Pine Street in Rockmart on Sunday night just after 8:45 p.m. and found that a rear storm door window was broken by a liquor bottle and another window was also broken, and bloodied by the results.

When the homeowner went to investigate the noise thinking it was juveniles, he instead found the blood and followed the trail until spotted Blackman near the back of his property and covered in blood and immediately called 911 for help. Police arrived and found Blackman in the same position and in the nude, and severely intoxicated.

Blackman was taken to the hospital for injuries due to the incident by AdventHealth Redmond EMS on Sunday night.

While investigating who Blackman was, police found he had a failure to appear warrant for his arrest.

Police noted that the property owner didn’t want to press charges, but that at least $250 worth of damage was done.

PCPD did charge him with the misdemeanors. He remained in custody as of this posting waiting for his bond to be set.
