Nature’s true beauty captured in snapshots is on display through the end of October, but those who want to gather and celebrate the accomplishments of photographers have a chance to do so this Saturday evening.

A reception is being held on Saturday, September 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. and live music will be provided by Jill and Bobby at the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center Gallery.

The free event is set to celebrate the talents on display of 46 photographers with the Wilderness Photography Foundation.

Rockmart was selected as one of the stops across Georgia and Florida over the past two years as a traveling exhibit in museums and galleries, and is the last stop on the tour.

The exhibit will be up at the galley until October 30 for those who can’t make it on Saturday. Those interested can bring a group to visit, but call ahead to the RCAC to schedule a time at 770-684-2707 or email rcac@rockmart-ga.gov.

Votes are also being taken for the People’s Choice from the exhibit.
