Earlier in the week, the City of Aragon posted about the efforts to tidy up Veterans Park recently completed by their Public Works department.
A new round of mulch and a border around the playground, plus some other fixes and cleanup around the swings and gazebo at the park behind City Hall.

The small park is one of several within the city limits that have been receiving updates in recent months, and will be in the future.
Plans for the future include new swings around the mill pond that will be concreted in to prevent vandalism or theft – though removal of the playground equipment is on the list of items the City Council were considering during tonight’s session.
That equipment – meant more for a large backyard than public use – was installed several years ago for use by youth in the community and outlived its useful life.
Public Works next park on their list for repairs and improvements is Jake Belk Field, per officials.
