School starts back on Thursday here in Polk County, and one local organization made sure that students in and around Cedartown had the chance to grab some needed supplies before they head back to class.

Over the weekend, Pryor to Success held their annual Back to School event at the Boys and Girls Club on Queen street on Saturday, August 3.

The event brought out dozens of families who got to take home a bag of supplies, plus had the chance to learn more and peruse items from local vendors and organizations, and even enjoy a snow cone or two.

Youth even got a chance to enjoy some arts and crafts or get their nails painted before the supplies were handed out on Saturday afternoon.
