Several hours ago, the Polk County Police Department sought help via their Facebook page in finding a local senior who has gone missing in the area.

According to the post, they are looking for help finding an elderly gentleman by the name of Michael Rowell, who is 76 years old and went missing from his residence on Rowell Road.

Rowell is 5’10, 185lbs, gray hair, and brown eyes, and is suffering from dementia. Rowell is possibly driving a white 2012 Toyota Tacoma, Tag #CHV6908.

No report of his safe return had been made as of this time.

“Our agency is requesting your assistance in staying vigilant for Mr. Rowell. This case is being diligently worked by our investigators. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Crawford at (678) 246-5123,” the post stated.
