PCPD: Rowdy row with neighbors ends with arrest

Gregory Keith Goss

Polk County Police responded in Cedartown on Wednesday night to a neighbor dispute caused by a man who was shouting at his neighbors across two yards and tried to flee from responsibility before officers arrived, according to reports.

Gregory Keith Goss, 42, of a Fairview Avenue address in Cedartown, was booked into custody on Wednesday evening, October 2, after a verbal altercation with neighbors got loud enough for others to call officers out to handle the situation.

Police arrived and Goss was gone, having run off from his residence to Ellawood Avenue.

He was found by officers holding an “alcoholic beverage” and appeared drunk at the time when he was cuffed.

A video of the incident provided by a witness showed Goss “yellowing a two females from across two properties in a public setting.”

PCPD took Goss onward to the Polk County Jail and charged him with misdemeanors for public drunkenness and loud music/excessive noise. He remained in custody on a $1,000 bond.
