It took Polk County Police five different trespassing complaints before they finally took out warrants for the arrest of a Rockmart man who just wouldn’t stay off a neighbor’s property.
Michael Chad Jones, 39, of a Rockmart-area address, was booked into custody after the fifth trespassing incident on a neighbor’s property following an early Wednesday morning, October 23 complaint to Polk County Police.
Officers noted that Jones had been warned and ticketed several times for trespassing on the property, but continued to do so despite intervention from PCPD.
Police finally sought a warrant through the Magistrate Court for his arrest since he continued to ignore the warnings.
Evidence was provided to PCPD of the trespassing incidents from neighbor’s security cameras.
Jones was later released on a $1,400 bond from the Polk County Jail later in the day on Wednesday.
