Centrifuge & Pump Services Corporation, currently in Stone Mountain, who provides services to the industrial centrifuge industry will be moving to Aragon in the coming months as they take over a property formerly owned by ‘Three Kings Towing’ in the Mill Village.
Following the purchase of the property, that sits next door to the Mayor’s business, Centrifuge Services Corporation is expected to move into their new erected building by the third quarter of the year.
Owner Frank Berns settled on Aragon after a long search for a fitting location. Evaluating the future growth in the area surrounding Aragon he sees it as a great opportunity for growth of the company as well.
The company is a aftermarket service provider to the industrial centrifuges industry – equipment that is used to separate a variety of materials in numerous industries and some cases, in industries making all kinds of products used by consumers daily.
When these machines need maintenance or repair, CPS Corp is one of several aftermarket providers in the country that is able to repair and maintain equipment.
Berns has been operating in the business for decades, and is currently operating his business in Stone Mountain Georgia.
The company has limited deliveries to the property on Sixth Street, he told the City Council back during their December regular session, when he came to pay a new neighborly visit to explain what he does, and to explain how his business will impact the local community.
Deliveries via short bed tractor trailers to the property will be limited when operations begin, usually to a few times a month of unloading and loading of equipment to be serviced at the facility off Highway 101.
Groundbreaking is expected in the next few months, with more information to follow about his plans for bringing Centrifuge Services Corporation to Aragon.
