Get the kids donned in their favorite costume for the third annual Halloween event at the Nathan Dean Sports Complex in Rockmart.
The City along with participating organizations and businesses will be out starting at 5 p.m. in at the sports complex off Highway 278 in Rockmart. Youth and families are encouraged to attend for the two hour event, which is free for all.
The past two years, the event has been drive-thru only, but this year trick-or-treaters of all ages can get out of the car and take part in the fun.
The Kid’s Costume contest begins at 5:30 p.m. following a 5 p.m. performance by Ballet Garden. A dog costume contest begins at 4:30 p.m., and Precious Paws is sponsoring both of the contests.
Local businesses will be on hand to provide candy alongside with city agencies and local civic clubs.
The event is free for all to attend.
