Murphy-Harpst gets help from Rotarians

A fundraiser ahead of the holidays brought in enough to cover a donation made to the Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center in Cedartown.

Rotarians gave $2,000 to the organization during their meeting on Tuesday at The Rails in Rockmart. The club raised money for the donation through the 2023 Rockmart Tour of Homes hosted by the club.

Murphy-Harpst Children’s Centers provides care to abused and neglected young people through residential treatment, placements in specialized foster care, and community programs that serve at-risk young people and their families. It is an independent, non-profit organization run as an agency of the United Methodist Church.
