Mrs. Lena Elizabeth Pruitt Patterson, age 61 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born on March 24, 1959 in Cedartown.  She was the daughter of the late Jimmie Lamar and Laura Wood Pruitt.  

Mrs. Patterson is survived by her husband, Kenneth C. Patterson; daughters, Christy Patterson (Toad Barrett) and Shasta Meeker; son, Jason Patterson (Jamie); sister, Judi Earley (Danny); brothers, Kermit Pruitt (Trisha) and Randy Pruitt (Rachelle); grandchildren, Heather Patterson, Laura Seabolt (Logan Maddox), Jacob Bradford, Logan Goddard, Lakelynn Meeker, Ayden Meeker, and Hayley Tanner; and several extended family members.  

Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jimmy Lynn Pruitt.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lena Elizabeth Patterson will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at twelve o’clock (noon) in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Ralph Jenkins and Rev. Kermit Pruitt officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Patterson will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from five o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks will be required for all services provided for Mrs. Lena Patterson.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chad Patterson, Chad Fortune, Braydon Earley, Jason Patterson, Allen Pruitt, Christopher Pruitt, and Bill Welchel.  Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Maddox and Bryant Earley.
