Centre the latest spot for Cedartown-based store

Those looking for good deals across the state line in Alabama now have an option thanks to a local business owner’s expansion westward.

Livewire Surplus opened its newest location in Centre, Alabama today after they began an expansion into the neighboring city. Livewire Antiques and More is located on 1021 Chesnut Bypass, and provides a variety of discount items and antiques like its sister (and original) location in Cedartown.

The store is open Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central.

The new location is the latest expansion by Livewire Surplus in recent months. They launched a new website near the tail end of December 2024 at livewiresurplus.com.

Cedartown’s location is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (all times Eastern on this side of the border) at their North Main Street location.
