Camp Antioch is hosting Keep Polk Beautiful and volunteers to help ensure that live Christmas trees that have been used for the holiday season don’t end up in the landfill.

The annual Bring One for the Chipper event is happening now at The Polk-Haralson Christian Life Center (Camp Antioch) at 3900 Antioch Road.

Keep Polk Beautiful is only out for the morning, and will be taking trees to be mulched in 2022. In previous years, the organization has recycled trees as mulch to be used for a variety of reasons, and have also used them to be sunk in local ponds and lakes to become fish habitats.

Make it out there before noon to take part!

Those who give a tree will receive a tree seedling to replace the one they had for Christmas.
