One local organization needs your help to ensure that youth in foster care in Polk County have a Happy and fun-filled Halloween.

Polk Family Connection has partnered with Harbin Clinic to support children in foster care in Polk County for Halloween, and are asking for donations to purchase a sign for someone’s yard, and for every sign donated a treat is provided for a foster child in Polk County.

There are 99 youth that Polk Family Connection is hoping to provide with treats for the season.

For $25 you can get a friend or neighbor “pump’d” by purchasing a sign and placing it in someone’s yard, along with a note we provide and a treat, which invites them to do the same. You don’t have to live in Polk County to participate, and businesses are encouraged to participate as well.

All proceeds will go directly to the Polk Family Connection Paypal account to purchase candy and bags, and the remainder will be held to help support foster families in Polk. Harbin Clinic is providing the signs and helping to promote the project.
