Get Pump’d campaign fundraiser for foster care back on for October

Want to do some good in the community this Halloween, and ensure that youth who need a treat get one? Then look no further than a fundraiser going on right now.

Polk Family Connection is working to support local children in Polk County again this year in their “Get Pump’d for Kids” campaign.

The organization is partnering with Harbin Clinic to sell signs for $25 for the annual Get Pump’d for Kids campaign happening now.

All one has to do is place the yard sign in front of the house to show support of children in here in Polk County–or better yet, place it in a neighbor’s yard, as several have already done.

For instance, Polk Family Connection’s head Rhonda Heuer had her friend Patty Rogers place a sign in front of her house instead of her own.

Last year the campaign sold 150 signs, but this year’s goal is 200!

Please contact Rhonda at polkcouncil@yahoo.com or order your sign directly at https://events.harbinclinic.com and someone will contact you for delivery or pick-up arrangements in Cedartown at your convenience. Please help us support the children in our community!

Here’s some additional info from partner Harbin Clinic:

  • Place your Pumpkin Pal sign (provided) in a friend’s yard and leave a surprise treat at their door.
  • For every Pumpkin Pal purchased, a special Halloween treat will be delivered to a foster child in Polk Count
  • All proceeds will be used for April child abuse and neglect prevention activities and to support the needs of foster families
