Mrs. Geneva Grace Bentley

Mrs. Geneva Grace Bentley, age 86, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025.

Mrs. Bentley was born February 12, 1939, in Rockmart, Georgia, daughter of the late Woodrow Camp and Grace Marks Camp.

Mrs. Bentley was very passionate about her work as a hairdresser. She served her clients for fifty-three years and loved her time with each of them.

She loved reading, traveling, and line dancing. Mrs. Bentley was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Lime Branch Baptist Church. She showed the love of Christ in everything that she did.

She was a patient and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a joy to be around, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bentley was preceded in death by her first husband in 2006, Mr. Eugene T Bentley; daughter, Jill Bentley; son, Eric Bentley; and brother, James Camp.

Mrs. Bentley is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Roger “Dale” Roberts, Jr.; son, Eugene Bryan Bentley and his wife, Laura; stepdaughter, Carolyn Floyd and her husband, Ray; granddaughter, Katherine Dobson and her husband, Randy; brothers: J.B. Camp, Jerry Camp and his wife, Gwen, Ray Camp and his wife, Lovorne; sisters, Jeanette Born and her husband, Roy, Rebecca Davis, Patricia Scarborough, and Retha Cozart; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services to honor her life will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Reverend Brian Crisp, Reverend Patrick Latham, and Mr. Ray Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends, also on Monday at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, from 2:00 PM until the service hour.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Randy Dobson, Ray Floyd, Lance Hodgins, Tony Hodgins, Lanny Camp, Phillip Pleger, Ricky Bradford, and Chad Cozart.

The family kindly accepts flowers, or memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Lime Branch Baptist Church, 1127 Tallapoosa Highway, Cedartown , Georgia, 30125.
