A record number of pups and their owners took part in this year’s Dog Show at the 58th Cedar Valley Arts Festival held this past weekend (April 29 & 30) at Peek Park in Cedartown.

These dogs pulled out all the stops this year for the show, but the judges had to declare someone a winner. Third overall went to Bubba, one of two pups shown in tandem by Margaux Jones. Second went to a German Shepherd named Kala, owned by Adam Camara, but the Best in Show this year was Pierre, a french poodle owned by Randy Puckett.
