Frosty morning in Polk County set to warm up, temps rising back 70s by Wednesday through the weekend

A frosty morning that felt more like winter than the midway point of autumn didn’t last long, and more seasonable temperatures are coming back around for the midweek and through the weekend, per the National Weather Service forecast.

The meteorologists in Peachtree City report that today is expected to be sunny and clear, with a high of 65 for the day and a low overnight of 39, with no frost advisory in effect for the overnight hours and into Wednesday morning.

Temperatures are set to get back to something we’re used to this time of year, with a high of 70 for midweek and a low of 42, and that forecast persisting with clouds returning to close out the week.
