City of Cedartown looking for reschedule date in September

A washout weekend for local events (and a particular football game that went late into the night Saturday) ultimately impacted the final date of the 2024 Summer Concert Series.

So now the city is going to rock out one more time coming up in September.

Officials are seeking to firm up a date for the concert that was supposed to see Georgia Red Clay play at Peek Park on Saturday, August 17. However, stormy weather that impacted the area on Saturday evening forced city officials to call off the event.

The good news, per a social media post from the City of Cedartown over the weekend is that Georgia Red Clay do want to perform for the Peek Park audience.

As soon as the dates align with the band, the city expects to make an announcement about a September reschedule date.
