Additional details about a wreck on Prior Station Road that occurred overnight and one person was found dead this afternoon, according to Polk County Coroner Norman Smith.
Smith reported that the Metro Atlanta-area man – whose name is not being released at this time at the request of family – was pronounced dead on the scene late this afternoon not long after the Ford Mustang driven by the victim was found.
The Mustang went down an embankment sometime during the overnight hours after the 27-year-old male is believed to have been at a party, per Smith. The man was reported missing after he didn’t show up back home earlier today, and loved ones began searching for him around the area.
