Cedartown library reopens following remodel for future generations

All the volumes are back on the shelves, and local officials got to enjoy the smiles of children who got to celebrate a long awaited day in Cedartown.

Years of planning and band-aids, finding funding and months of work later, the Cedartown Public Library is back open to the public following a complete interior renovation meant to provide a comfortable spot to work on a report or just enjoy some reading time for generations to come.

The March 17 event showing off the completely redone space capped off a process that began in 2010 and for a time was “shelved” due to a lack of appropriate funding available for the project.

Now that is has been completed, it can be a delight for years to come for all.
