Make your way out to Camp Antioch (aka the Polk Haralson Christian Life Center) this Saturday for the upcoming drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat celebration of fall, but with a twist.

Camp Antioch’s driveway is hosting the Biblical-themed event along with several other churches set for this Saturday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m.

The idea is to allow parents and kids to drive-thru along Camp Antioch’s driveway and briefly stop at various stations that churches and the camp are setting up for the afternoon event.

“Please enter our Camp driveway located at 3900 Antioch Road, Cedartown and circle through to our exit on Hightower Falls Road,” Camp Antioch Executive Director Janice Stewart requests of attendees this coming Saturday.

Additionally, children will not be allowed to hang out the windows of passing vehicles, and all are asked to drive slowly as they come through the area.

Organizers said the that instead of trick-or-treaters getting out of the car to get a treat, the idea will be to hand out individually wrapped candy or pre-bagged treats with gloves to cars as they drive through the Camp Antioch driveway.

The event will be held rain or shine.
