Brazier swears in Beck, Boring in elections positions to cap off June

The newest member of the Polk County Board of Elections and the county’s new Elections Director both took oaths of office in a ceremony on Thursday to cap off the month of June with Probate Court Judge Tony Brazier providing the oaths of office.

Noah Beck, the Elections Director and now officially the registrar for the county, took the oath of office on Thursday, June 30 surrounded by his family after closing out the first few months on the job for the county’s latest hire in the role overseeing elections.

Additionally, the newest elections board member Elaine Boring was also on hand to take her oath of office to continue her service on the board.

The Board of Elections – chaired by Richard Long – also includes Dr. Bruce Bell. The trio represent the three districts of Polk County.
