The Church of God on Sardis Road in Rockmart is hosting a youth-focused Back-to-School event no matter how the weather turns out next Saturday.

The July 27 event at 31 Sardis Road, Rockmart, is being held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is first-come, first-served with a limited offering of school supplies being given out to children in need of help before classes start back in August.

Youth must be present for bookbags to be given out, and the bags are pre-filled with supplies suitable for Pre-K to 12th grade.

They’ll be hosting the event rain or shine.
