The annual Haralson County Veterans Association Car Show is coming soon to Tallapoosa, bringing an opportunity to show off a cool vehicle, enjoy good music and fun, and potentially win a prize for having a top hot rod.

The 29th annual HCVA Car and Truck Show is coming up on June 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at League-Lowe Park in downtown Tallapoosa.

Cars and truck owners who want to showcase their ride can register ahead of the event, and the first 15 who enter will get a bucket of prizes each from local sponsors.

A rain date of June 14 is on the books should weather force a postponement.
