Ms. Shelley Lynn Puckett, age 50, of Buchanan, GA, passed away May 10, 2025.

She was born August 28, 1974 in Carrollton, GA to the late Richard Lee “Pete” and Annie Ruth Williams Puckett.

Shelley graduated with the Haralson County Class of 1992. She was in the band in both high school and college. She loved being outdoors, hiking in the woods. Arts and crafts, bead work and coloring were some of her favorite hobbies. She dearly loved all of her family, and her son was the apple of her eye. She loved helping with his Boy Scout Troop and served as his troop chairman.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Alex and Jenny Fanucci, of Gatlinburg, TN; granddaughter, Freya Fanucci; sisters and brother in law, Sherri Owen and Sheila and Joey Hicks, all of Tallapoosa; nieces and nephews, Joshua Owen and Ashley, Jennifer and Jonathan Gray, Brandon and Christin Wright, Mallory Hicks and Alex, Anslee and Justin Akins; great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Lily, Dalton, Grason, Landon, Logan, Linkyn, Livie Grace, Piper, Annie Ruth, Reghan, Avereigh, and Owen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 3:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating. A eulogy will be given by Alex Fanucci. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Alex Fanucci, Joshua Owen, Brandon Wright, Jonathan Gray, Dalton Gray, and Landon Wright.

Interment will follow in Providence Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 19th, beginning at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with their service costs. Donations may be made to the funeral home in person, via phone, or on our website through the Services Tab and Payment Center.
