Mr. Melvin William Reeves, age 89, of Carrollton, GA, formerly of Waco, GA, passed away May 7, 2025.

He was born February 2, 1936 in Fish Creek, GA to the late James Clifford Reeves and Ida May White Reeves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Reeves and all ten of his siblings.

Melvin, a true patriot and hardworking servant, retired from the United States Air Force after over 20 years of active service. He was a compassionate and empathetic man and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Reeves, of Carrollton; sons and daughters in law, Matt and Lyea Reeves, of Tallapoosa, GA and Melvin and Pam Reeves, Jr., of Lithia Springs, GA; step daughter and son in law, Ronda and Mark Auclair, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Lee Dobson, Mitchell Reeves, Dustin Reeves, Dallas Reeves, and Shanna Singleton; and ten great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 12:00PM in Hollywood Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Layton officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Lee Dobson, Mitchell Reeves, Dustin Reeves, Dylan Singleton, Cody Jones, and Ty Dobson. Military honors will follow the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30AM.
