A suspect who was wanted within Haralson County was jailed ahead of the weekend as local agencies worked together to make an arrest on Friday, per a posting online.
Tobias Anderson was taken into custody Friday afternoon, October 22 in the Buchanan area after a task force tracked down the suspect. The Haralson County Sheriffs Office, Buchanan and Bremen Police Departments worked together on the arrest.
Anderson was jailed on felony charges of theft by receiving stolen property and probation violation, and a misdemeanor for willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
Along with Anderson, police arrested Hurley Lewis Boyd, 50, on charges for helping Anderson elude capture.

Wanted person Tobias Anderson was captured this afternoon outside of Buchanan Georgia. A task force comprised of Haralson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators along with Buchanan Police Department and Bremen Police Department converged on a location that Anderson was believed to be at.
Anderson was arrested without incident and a second person, Hurley Lewis Boyd, 50 years old out of Buchanan Georgia, was arrested for Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive for giving Anderson a place to stay knowing he was wanted.
